COMPLETE CHANGE-OVER: These systems are sold as complete changeover kits. All necessary parts are provided to convert a standard steering vehicle over to power steering: every last nut, bolt, washer and cotter pin. Each system contains many new parts, including all rubber parts, hoses, grommets, etc. We are the manufacturer of many parts used in our kits.

GUARANTEED FIT: Each system is built to fit your vehicle.

PRE-ASSEMBLED: Each kit is pre-assembled into sub-assemblies for ease of installation. Most of our kits can be installed in three hours or less by one person using common shop tools.

WARRANTY: All systems are warranted for one full year against defects in materials and workmanship.

REMANUFACTURED: All components are either new or remanufactured to equal or exceed factory specifications.

This Kit is a complete Power Steering Kit with original type generator/pump combination, coupled with a reproduction linkage kit. All parts are provided to convert any non-modified 55-57 to factory-type power steering, including the hardware. The linkage is pre-assembled. Complete installation and bleeding instructions are included, along with all hardware. Use your generator pulley and voltage regulator. Please allow 2 weeks.

Using a similar generator/pump as the earlier systems, the 1958-59 Power Steering Kits include all the linkage parts, which were completely different from previous years. As with all our Kits, as much pre-assembly as possible is done beforehand, so you can install the Kit easily and quickly.

1960 was the first year GM put the pump directly on the engine. Our 1960-64 Kits have all the right parts for a given year: all pulleys, all hardware, all pre-assembled.
